The Word of God
We joyfully submit to the authority and sufficiency of God’s Word in all matters of faith and practice. We believe the Scriptures are living, trustworthy, and sufficient to shape the life of the church. For this reason, our teaching is most often expository—preaching through books of the Bible, chapter by chapter and verse by verse—so that God’s Word shapes us rather than our preferences.
The Presence of God
When we gather, we desire to deepen our relationship with the living God, both personally and as a church. God is holy and exalted, yet near and personally known through Jesus Christ. This conviction shapes every aspect of our worship, as we come together in prayer, the reading and preaching of Scripture, congregational praise, and the Lord’s Supper, trusting that God is truly present and at work among His people.
The Ways of God
True faith is expressed in obedience, as the gospel shapes not only what we believe, but how we live in all of everyday life. For this reason, we emphasize the practical application of Scripture, trusting that right worship and sound doctrine lead to faithful living. By the grace of God, we seek to walk in the ways of Christ—in our homes, our relationships, our work, and our witness—submitting every area of life to the lordship of Jesus.
